... a smart solution

  • WiFi stands for wireless fidelity. It refers to the global standard that uses the 802.11 standard for wireless networking technology.
  • WiFi technology operates at a frequency of 2.4GHz. "WiFi Certified" hardware can interoperate with each other regardless of brand, for as long as your device such as PDA, laptops, and any other accessories are designed to be wifi-compatible. New developments are underway to enable switching seamlessly between cellular and wifi networks without dropping a call.
  • WiFi technology was originally used for smaller deployments. A typical WiFi network is normally only found in homes or hotspots with a limited range of 100-300 feet radius. Cost of scaling and complexity often makes large scale deployments and coverage difficult.

... an even smarter solution

The new SUPERWIFI technology extends a typical WiFi range from 300 feet (91.5 meters) to 3,280 feet (1,000 meters) and beyond, while boosting data transfer rates. It is 100% WiFi compatible with no need for additional device or technology. SUPERWIFI encompasses the ease and availability of WiFi but with the benefit of super long range.

A single SUPERWIFI base station antenna typically covers a 1km radius with line-of-sight, or 500m non-line-of-sight. Even with powerful base stations, other WiFi systems typically face the problem of low-powered mobile users not being able to respond to the base station. SUPERWIFI uses patented smart antenna technologies to improve uplink performance from standard client devices. Smart multi-path technology also selects the best receiving signal and reduces interference. SUPERWIFI also uses Adaptive Interference Control that automatically adjusts the signal to adapt to the surrounding interference situations.
